In short: Lofted analyses your swing entirely on your device. We do not collect, upload or sell any personal data. Your videos never leave your phone.

1. Data controller

The Lofted app ("the App") is published by the Lofted team ("we", "us"). For any question about this policy, contact us at sebastien@timoner.com.

2. Data processed

Lofted is built around privacy by design. The App runs 100% offline as far as your data is concerned:

Swing videos and images — captured or imported, they are analysed locally (pose detection and biomechanical calculations) then kept on your device. They are never sent to our servers or any third party.
Analysis results — scores, metrics and recommendations generated from your videos, stored locally.
Rounds and courses — scores, stats and courses you enter, stored locally.
Preferences — language, height (for optional calibration), theme and onboarding state, stored locally.

We do not collect: name, email address, account identifiers, precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers. The App requires no account.

3. Device permissions

Camera — used only to film your swing and show the real-time skeleton. The stream is processed on-device and is not broadcast.
Photos / files (platform-dependent) — used only if you choose to import an existing video or export a PDF report.

You can revoke these permissions at any time in your system settings; some capture features will then be unavailable.

4. Local storage

All your data (analyses, rounds, courses, preferences) is saved in the App's private space on your device, via JSON files and the system preferences store. It is not synced to the cloud.

5. Third-party services

The App embeds no behavioural-analytics, advertising or tracking SDK. Pose detection uses a vision library that runs locally on the device; it does not transmit your images.

If you download the App from the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google), those platforms apply their own privacy policies to the download and any payments. We have no access to that data.

6. Retention & deletion

Your data stays on your device for as long as you wish. You can delete an analysis or a round from within the App. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all associated data from your device.

7. Your rights

Because we hold no copy of your data on any server, you keep full, direct control of it from your device. Under the GDPR and applicable laws, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure and portability — exercised here by viewing, editing or deleting your data directly in the App. For any request, email us at sebastien@timoner.com.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data about them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App or to regulations. The "last updated" date at the top indicates the current version. Significant changes will be flagged in the App or on this website.
